Pretty straight forward for graphic shirts or hoodies

My wife loves the cricut products and uses them for a LOT of projects. One thing she has been wanting is this press for making graphic shirts and hoodies. she was thrilled by it and it seems to work well. even heat distribution/temp control. Gets the job done.

I spent a lot of time trying to figure out if I wanted to invest in a heat press machine. I had been using a small/medium Cricut handheld and was getting a bit tired by the amount of strength it was taking. Not to mention, I had dramatically increased the volume of projects that I was doing. Once I could justify the expense, I was overwhelmed by the options. I decided on this machine for its more basic features. I have had the machine for about a month and have completed approximately 40+ projects with it. Here are my impressions so far: 1. Watch a number of YouTube videos prior to making a heat press purchase to familiarize yourself with how each machine functions, takes up space, etc. 2. This machine is heavy, sturdy, and of quality for the price. 3. It will take some getting used to before you figure out how the heat plates work best for your projects. 4. You will need to play around with the heat settings often. Keep a notepad close by to write things down for future reference. ' 5. Some reviewers say you need a heat gun because there is so much inconsistency on the plates. In my experience, if you do not aim the heat gun in the right spots, it will show lower readings but I have found that when I aim the heat gun properly, I got consistent readings. Which in turn means, that you need to be patient with the press. DO A TEST every time prior to pressing. 6. I HATED this press the first week. I wanted to send it back because I thought it was taking me longer and I ruined more things than I completed. But by the end of the week, I found my way around the machine and can say I am really enjoying it. It has definitely saved me time.
